City Named 'Pet-Friendliest Destination'

By Staff Reporter of the Sun
April 1, 2008

Four-legged tourists seeking out the cushiest hotels and best in gourmet dog treats for their next vacation should pick New York City, according to Animal Fair magazine, which is awarding the city the 2008 Cesar Five Dog Bone Pet-Friendliest Destination prize. The announcement prompted the city's marketing agency, NYC and Company, to tout the city's various pet-centric locales, including several upscale hotels, numerous dog runs, and even taxis and bars that accept furry clientele. The award was based on votes sent in by the magazine's readers.
