The Boston Massacre was on March 5th, 1770. The American Constitution was ratified by the first colony on December 7th, 1787. Between those seventeen years Americans killed raped and pillaged one another, Tories supported by Britain, Rebels by France & Spain.
Given our performance in building a democracy, should we judge the Iraqi people who suffered a lot more under Saddam Hussein than our ancestors did under King George III.
