Nigel,

Called 'Crescent of Embrace'

Red maples placed in a crescent pattern.

Opening of crescent facing Mecca.

Exact number of glass blocks to memorialize not only the victims, but the terrorists.

Black wall. Why on earth a black wall? Perhaps to symbolize the reaching out to islam. Look up why every muslim is encouraged to go to Mecca during Hajj. What do they circle and kiss? Black meteorite.

Not hard to see why people would think that. To compare the 93 memorial and the blatant message it was intended to send, to the absurdity of the most oppressive country on earth's virtue police is ridiculous.
