Execution Without Wrath

Submitted by Elaine Daly, Jan 6, 2007 15:26

The death penalty is wrong because it causes us to stoop to their level. Killing someone does not bring someone else back. It only hurts even more people. What about the friends, family and loved ones of the condemed. They were just as innocent as anybody else. Why should the suffer too. The person should be given life in prison with out parol. They should be reminded every day all day what put them there. Pictures if their victims and what was done to them should be posted in their living quarters. They should be forced to deal with what they did every day for the rest of their lives. Killing them makes it eaiser on them not the living innocent victims.
