Which Middle America Are You Talking About?
Reader comment on: Obama Shapes an Agenda Beyond Iraq War

re: Comments by Bruce A. Dembrowski,

Given the even split of the electorate in 2000, it seems to me Middle America has a big thick line drawn down the center of it. The Middle America I know was uncomfortable with Roberts and Alito, and even more uncomfortable with the SCT being stacked so favorably toward the conservatives. Bruce, in the words of an animated movie song, "You think the only people who are people are people who look and think like you." [Pocahontas].

Barack Obama is going to continue to overcome and defy his critics. When the conservatives run out of logical attempts to discredit him, look for the "Harold-Ford-Senate-Race" tactics to come out of the woodwork. Nevertheless, good things are going to happen for Senator Obama. Trust me on this one!
