How the West Could Lose

Submitted by Shirley Jackson, Dec 27, 2006 22:16

You Americans must think the rest of us Westerners are idiots, stupid enough to believe your nonsense.

Pacifism: is a western value. The European Union exists for one purpose: to make it impossible to wage war in Europe. The Europeans know war. They are laughing the Americans because you have proved incompetant at war, losing two wars, Afghanistan and Iraq, and destroying NATO. When your country is attacked, your president tells you to go shopping or visit Disneyland, instead of drafting you.

Self-hatred: hating and criticizing your government is a western value. Remember your revolution? And it's not the same as hating yourself.

Complacency: the solution to WMDs is obvious. Let's dismantle all of them including yours. Police action, border control, and containment can handle the Islamist problem. The fact is it's not necessary to invade countries to win. Killing, maiming, and terrorizing innocent people for fun is sadism, not a western value, as well as counterproductive.
