To die or to be sentenced to life in prison?
Reader comment on: Judges Revolt Over Death Penalty

Submitted by Stuart H. Tresser, Mar 4, 2008 15:36

The death penalty first of all can never be reversed. Once the cyanide or lethal injection is administered it's too late! A prison sentence can be overturned, if an innocent person gets wrongfully convicted he can be set free. Once you are dead, it is all over. I do feel that if you not only kill a cop, but a civilian the death sentence should apply equally. Any human being who kills for hire, fun, should pay the ultimate price. If that person is mentally ill there should be no exemption from execution. Killers and especially multiple killers, serial killers, should be sentenced to death.
