I am a Kenyan in Englang and I do not belong to either the Luo or Kikuyu tribe but im very dissapointed to see how majority of the people who contributed to this article are Kikuyus and are very quick at pointing the finger at Mr. Odinga.
Fact - Majority of the peole who died are Kikuyu and no one should be proud of this or of any one of the people that lost their lives in these riots
Fact - There were more than 7 deaths reported of Luos
Fact - Mungiki sect who have terrorised the poor population in Kenya are majority Kikuyus and have killed a large number of kenyans from various tribal communities, who spoke out then?
Fact - Majority of the former cabinet were kikuyus including one of my neighbours in Kenya(name I will not mention) who was uneducated and could hardly write out our waterbill.
Fact - The fight for Democracy in Kenya is by all including Kikuyus, Kenyans have suffered enough.
Fact - The deaths are unjustified but you cannot stop kenyan from fighting from their elected president because its that man in Kibera or Mathare who woke up in the morning and cued up for up to 6 hours without eating anything so that he can get a chance to cast his/her vote for their chosen leader, and truth be told we all know that Mr. Odinga won majority vote.
Fact - No one is innocent both parties are guilty and its a high time you as Kenyan stop pointing fingers and do something to help stop the violence, one of which is by stoping the preaching of hatred towards Odinga and present a united front.
Fact - as much as you deny it, reading these articles has clearly shown that tribalism exists even beyond borders and im very dissapointed.
Fact - life is always a struggle in Africa, you know it and I know it so stop wining and do something to make a difference.
