Mr. Goldstein purports to be an educated man; after all, he is a "journalist". He must have been educated in Europe, where they believe all things come from the government, ie. life, liberty, rights, etc. Incredibly he doesn't seem to know that we fought a war over that very topic. Our rights are guaranteed by the Constitution, not given, not granted, not defined. The Bill of Rights is a list of rights denying the government the power and authority to affect them. "..shall not be infringed." in the 2nd. "...will not" in the 1st. The list is extensive and very broad, demanding that the government keep its paws off of the people's rights. Mr Goldstein should be embarassed and apologise for his transgressions.
