though some say it is a worthless attempt to try and remove all the guns from every american who owns one, what is the fear of making an attempt? True leadership comes with the ability to make decisions that step past the line of what is expected, and make an attempt to walk forward and benefit others. why are their eyes bulging at the idea of something that my possibly work? just because there is evidence to say its not 100% fool proof, how much information in this world is really ever considered truth? how much of that information changes due to new ideas and information that enters with the advance in intelegence as our world moves forward? Why should we try as clasp to the policies of the past? why do people critisize Barack for admitting to doing drugs? Bill clinton said he smoked weed but didn't inhale. How stupid can we possibly be to believe this? the entire POINT in smoking is to get high...he either smoked or he didn't. What our nation should be doing now rather than shunning any ideas based of ethical principles, rather than religious principles, is really thinking. we need to make decisions not based of fear that has been spread across the ground we walk on, but put our shoes on, and take a walk to another life. A walk to someone elses part of town, or a place where all you know of is the inference you make from the attitude towards it. In the world, there are good people, and there are bad people.Everyone can justify any action being wright or wrong because we are all individuals. The thing we have to do is be able to step aside, and walk away from all the finger pointing. stop playing the blame game. stop accepting something that is wrong when it is somethign you could fight for. step aside and don't say they are right becuase the other party sucks, they are right because this is right and i know right from wrong. Barack has been trying to tell us the truth. he is trying to get to the american people and really tell them to stop being so scared and stop denying that we can make a difference. he is trying to help us. He is taking that step away from the corrupt politicians and trying to change things. Now is the time for us to truly sit back and ask if we want that change. Are we a true democracy that is trying to move forward togethor, or are we trying to ignite a war between ourselves? you can make this choice by taking a step back to just think what you stand for. Think what you want others to stand for. Do you want this nation to become one that points its fingers at everything? thats like going back to the Mccarthy era, do we want that? Personally, i would like to go to bed at night with the comfort that we can make compromises, and there is a possibility of thoughtful freedom in this country. Religion, Life style, status, class, political party, everything aside, we can make ethical desisions fregaurdless.
