This is laughable – Hillary criticizing another candidate for taking (essentially) the same position that she has taken in the past. She was one of only a few Senators that voted against a bill that outlawed the use of federal law enforcement officers to confiscate legally owned private firearms. Apparently, Hillary believes that the federal government SHOULD have the power/authority to legally send FBI agents into the homes of American citizens to seize their private property. And she has the gall to criticize Obama?
Jake – pay attention here: During the 20th Century, it was GOVERNMENTS (not terrorists or criminals) who killed the largest number of innocent civilians on this planet. In addition, severe gun control or outright gun bans preceded the most notorious cases of governmental abuse, as happened on Ottoman Turkey, Nazi Germany, the former Soviet Union, China, and Cambodia. Some people who advocate gun control may be legitimately concerned about their loved ones and public safety, but they refuse to see that gun control does not reduce violent crime or violent behavior. This is not unlike the temperance movement, which led to the Prohibition – remember how well that worked?!
