Reader comment on: Bloomberg Seeks To Question Candidates About Guns

Submitted by curtis41, Dec 11, 2007 17:30

Who died and made Mayor Bloomberg king? He appears to have sanctioned illegal straw sales and blames everyone except the criminals who are doing the crimes in New York. That is akin to suing General Motors because their cars were used in a bank heist. How stupid can one person be? I hope the illustrious mayor gets a chance to do a brief in DC v. Heller, it would help the Heller case tremendously. How does the mayor explain that violent crime is down overall in states that now have firearm carry laws? Could it be that it is not a bad idea to have the good guys have guns, the bad ones already do, and apparently a lot of them moved to DC and New York City. Some of these anti-gun zealots, if you put their brain in a woodpecker, it would peck backwards.
