Demise of the West
Reader comment on: The Van Diepen Demarche

Submitted by Steve, Dec 5, 2007 18:40

It is astonishing that Americans sit by and watch their society unravel with barley a murmer of dissent. The about face of the intelligence information is sad and confusing, but travels the same path as the rest of the information fed to Americans. It is just another bit of news with agendas attached that can only continue the internal disintigration of America's position in the world. America, the country where hundreds of thousands marched and fought for civil rights. Where hundreds of thousands marched and fought for an end to the Vietnam conflict. No matter your politics, the leadership of the Kennedy's and Reagan's, the determination and willingness to "do the right thing," now seem like a distant vision of what America was and will never be again. Let me tune in to Oprah to see who your next president will be. She may have an idea on the nukes in Iran as well.
