A time to stand up
Reader comment on: 1,500 Qaeda Members Freed After Counseling

Submitted by Steve Wallace, Nov 27, 2007 09:19

The Saudis have cowered between the choice for freedom and the choice for terror. The royal family of Saudi Arabia are as much a target as is the United States, yet they won't publicly renounce terror and take a stand against terror and those who promote terror or commit terrorist acts.

If the Saudis are not willing to stand against terror then their cowering promotes and emboldens terrorist. If the Saudis are going to meet with Israel, USA, and other countries, they need to be courageous enough to recognize Israel and their right to exist in a state they have controlled. They can not have peace if they are unwilling to stand up for peace.
