This sorry excuse for a father wants to treat his son like a cocker spaniel whose tail will be docked. All religions have peripheral customs which are just bs, designed to keep insiders in and outsiders out. It has nothing to do with God. Children should have a right to their intact body. If they want to mutliate it after reaching majority by way of tatoos, amputation of functioning body parts, etc, that is their responsibility. I was circ'ed at birth, and have resented it (and my parents for allowing it) all my life.
If the father has his way, his son will see the error of his way the first (painful) time he atempts to masturbate after his mutilated penis heals.
