As a Jewish republican, member of the Republican Jewish Coalition, I am tired of reading comments taken only from Liberal Jewish People who are part of the Liberal cocktail parties of New York City.
I did not vote for them to be my leaders as many Jewish people had no vote on whether they represent the opinion of all Jews. It is time for the media to stop hiding the fact that many Jewish people have gone into the republican party since the democrat party that our fathers were part of, has disappeared into the Pacific Ocean. That is how far left they have gone and lost all common sense.
Actually, it really is a matter of common sense that has lost us to the republicans. Merit is gone, affirmative action is here, great colleges encourage and do nothing about anti-semitism. In fact, Jewish facilty lean so far over to be anti-semitic themselves.
When the Jewish faculty at Columbia named the anti-semitic professor as chairman of the dept. (sorry, I do not remember his name) that was a perfect example. When Larry Summers was dismissed by a bunch that included elite Jewish women becuase they didn't like what he said, whether it was true or not..that also was without common sense.
It would be appreciated if the reporters would start going to conservative Rabbis, perhaps Rabbi Lapin or any from the Jewish Policy Center or the executive, Matt Brooks from the Republican Jewish Coalition to get another idea of how other Jewish people feel.
Please do not put us in one box of liberals!
