Every one that disagrees with the policy are not in the situation that these immigrants are in. Stop thinking about your self for a change and pu yourself in their position. They obviously cant go back to their home countries because if life was better there they would of never came to america in the first place. The opportunities in a lot of o ther countries are very limited to the poor and overwhelming for the rich. They came here because the opportunities are limit-less and with immigration on their cases and cause terror in their lives, its hard for these immigrants to lead healthy lives while worrying about being deported the next day. Wasn't america open to all immigrants and is suppose to be the land of the free? If you want to get technichal everyone is a immigrant except for the Native Americans who were on these lands first before the Europeans came and manipulated and took advantage of the Natives. Its not rocket science, read the history books and you'll understand why america is a great country and it is we the people who must fight to keep our countries reputation flawless. Giving immigrants license wont give them legal power, or legalize them in any way, it is just an opportunity. And that will help bring in millions of dollars to New York States economy with the registration, car sales, parts, insurance ect. I see it as an overall plus for our City, our country United States the great, lets keep it that way.
