Reader comment on: Baker's Panel Rules Out Iraq Victory

Submitted by W, Dec 7, 2006 14:22

I never thought it would happen, I agree with "W" - send the Baker crew home. This rescue mission has made the president look like a fool, which he is -but this insult does not contribute constructively to the dismal situation. How can they come in at the point of nearly 3,000 US soldiers dead, and as many as 650,000 Iraqi deaths to plaster it over as if it was just a ding in the wall as opposed to a flat out collapse of the house of Bush? No, go home. You offered the president no advice while your operatives were instructing the public to ready for "Shock and Awe", the inevitable blessing of the conventional media in the slaughter of innocents. Al Queda was stamped on Iraq without evidence and the American public, hapless idiots for the most part, have swallowed it with a dose of patriotism. Where were they when the truth was so desperately needed to avoid this fiasco. They uttered not a word of suspicion! Go home liar. Go home succubus. Leave this man with his shame.
