Student Backlash Brews Against Untimed Tests

My son was an LD student and also was a D-F student until beginning his junior year of high school he decided to take school seriously and to even STUDY. He became an A-B student. I teach in a middle class suburban high school and note that very few of the LD students put what I would call an adequate effort into their education. But most know how to use the accommodations heaped on them.
