The State Department????????????????
Reader comment on: Fatah Militant: U.S. Training Was Key to Intifada's Success

Submitted by Jeremy Thompson, Aug 23, 2007 17:14

I always thought the currency of our Department of State was diplomacy and not training terrorist forces in special military ops. Have I missed something here? How many other terrorist minded organizations has the State Department trained around the world or is it only the "lucky" palestinians who receive sniper training from Ms. Rice's organization? Does she not realize that such training is in direct contrast to what I would think would be her hope of sitting down at a negotiating table and talking rather than better preparing an organization known for supporting violence against Israel? Doesn't Ms. Rice know that Force 17, arafat's personnel guard, moonlight as terrorists or is that such a secret that only people who read the news know about it? This is pathetic.
