It's interesting to me--and I think significant--that neither Solmonese nor McClusky actually said ENDA is "likely to pass" next year. It struck me that both instead were making what is surely an indisputable point--that the bill is in a stronger position with the Democrats in charge. In my conversations in the past few weeks with the Human Rights Campaign I have not heard them predict victory, at least at this point.
