The author speaks as though anarchism, advocated by many libertarians such as Rothbard, is a logical extension or "extreme" form of Capitalism. It is important to correct this misconception.

Anarchy is as violently opposed to Capitalism as is Communism and Fascism. Anarchy can result in nothing but gang rule and the complete breakdown of the rule of law into rule of men by other men. Capitalism cannot exist without the rule of law.

Rothbard was not inspired by and did not build upon the ideas of Rand (or Mises), he rejected them.
