I agree with all said in the above article. I would like to add also that I notice in my local paper that minority on minority crime in poor neighborhoods is underreported. We had a young black boy kicked and beaten to death by a bunch of black thugs in his neighborhood and it was deep sixed in the back of the paper. If this had been higher income white kids on white kids, it would certainly have made a more prominent place in the paper. This is wrong too. I don't understand why the press preaches truth and objectivity when the truth is they have a political agenda behind everything they do. At least papers like the New York Times and the Washington Post and most definitely my local paper The Virginian Pilot are agenda driven. There are many good people in the minority communities but we do them all a disservice not to tell the truth. Ignoring crime on innocent people regardless of who the perpetrator is should be wrong.
