Reader comment on: Milton Friedman

Submitted by Catherine Glass, Nov 18, 2006 15:03

I feel sure that Milton Friedman knew about the Brits' remarkable welfare reforms in the 19th century and the voluntary cooperative action of the UK's Friendly Societies, described at britsattheirbest.com http://www.britsattheirbest.com/freedom/f_time_19th_century_1834_1849.htm

My heartfelt condolences to Rose Friedman, whose partnership was so important to Milton's achievements and happiness.
