Reader comment on: Six Numbers in Search of a Theory

What does the consistency of Nature (those finely tuned cosmic numbers) have to do with a deity? Why would theologians make their faith suddenly coincide with physics painstakingly acquired experimental results and interpretations? Is it not wonderful to be able to appreciate "physically" the consistency of Nature? There is a drastic difference between discovering Nature consistency and beleiving in a deity! As an example a deity cannot be proved to exist and it cannot be proved not to exist for that matter! On the other hand "consistency" of Nature is right there alive for us! In addition deities usually created the universe. And on that point deities are also in conflict with science who does not mention who created big bang! Lets keep religions and science separate as they are of different nature. The big difference, between science and religion, is that religion explains everything, science does not! Religion uses faith, science uses experiments. The two are incompatible.
