Thomas, I would suggest a trip to the doctor for a checkup. I live in NYC and the air quality is noticeably better than it was 20 years ago. When I lived in L.A. in the early 60's my parents wouldn't let me go outside quite often do to the smog. There are far FEWER air alerts now than back then when the earth was cooling.
